MinaPro Ultra Consulting Ltd (MUCL) is a knowledge-based firm. Our area of competency is the capacity building of smallholder farmers. Through our farmer’s field school, we train farmers on good agronomic practices (GAP) and processors on improved parboiling technology (IPT) for paddy rice processing. We specialize in delivering training on climate-friendly farming practices as we are advocates of a system of rice intensification (SRI). Our core emphasis is on the reduction of environmental pollution through the use of minimal inputs. We employ the pedagogical model in disseminating knowledge in our training whereby we build on the existing knowledge of the farmers. We partner with high-tech companies to deliver real-time agronomic e-extension advisory services to farmers.
